September, wait... what?!

Why have I not posted since.... January?
Really, I have no excuse. None. Except to say I forgot, and when I did was doing something then forgot again...

So! To sorta catch you up our year so far.

We were unable to help out at the fort this school year due to a measle "outbreak".
So missed out on most of it. 😕

Our dad also had some health problems and was being treated during the same time as the Fort schools so we also avoided going out as much as possible and kinda became "hermits" for a few months.
But! Praise the Lord the treatments were a success and Dad is back to normal!
So thankful for that! God is so good.😊

The highlight of my year this far?
Our buddy Collin we met while working at the Ark Encounter in KY came out to visit!!
He started the same day Meg's and I did, he was also homeschooled and he lives on a farm in WV.
He is also a Falconer and has his own YouTube channel if anyone is interested. I linked it. 😁

Anyhoo, he decided to come see the PNW since he now has friends out here!
So he came and we gave him a grand tour.
Fort Stephens, the Astoria column, Multnomah Falls, of course had to go to the Ape Cave and Lava Canyon, Mnt. Saint Helen's and Fort Vancouver!
It was a total blast! So glad he could come visit us.

We also went to both our local fair and to the Oregon State Fair as well.
So much fun. Love all the animals.
